Youth concert 2022
Wednesday 23 March 2022 (20:15) Flagey, Brussels
Santiago Cañón-Valencia, soloist
Keigo Mukawa, soloist

Free concert for our young audience with the Japanese pianist Keigo Mukawa, laureate of the 2021 Competition, and the Colombian cellist Santiago Cañón-Valencia, laureate of the 2017 Competition. They will perform works by Manuel De Falla, Gareth Farr, Maurice Ravel, Arvo Pärt and Astor Piazzolla. Santiago Cañon Valencia will perform one of his own works too.

The Queen Elisabeth Competition has been organising a series of free concerts for young people under 26 for many years. Year after year we find that a large number of adults wants to attend the concert in Flagey. We are happy to be able to welcome them, but we need them to support the young musicians.
Do not hesitate to make a donation. Any gift equal to or greater than 40 euros benefits from tax deductibility. You can either make a transfer to the account of the Competition BE63 3100 4009 2008 (with the mention 'gift'), or make a gift online via this form on our website. The Competition thanks you for your generosity.
