After a bachelor’s degree at the Curtis Institute in the classes of Shmuel Ashkenasi and Aaron Rosand, Anna Im obtained a master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music in London under So-Ock Kim. She won First Prize at the 2019 Michael Hill Competition and at the Stuttgart and ArsClassica Competitions in 2024. She has performed as a soloist with, among others, the Stuttgart Philharmoniker, the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra and the Salzburger Solisten. She has also been invited to take part in numerous festivals, including the Kronberg Academy Festival, the Ravinia Festival, the IMS Prussia Cove and the Aspen Music Festival. As a chamber musician, Anna Im has performed alongside Steven Isserlis, Christian Tetzlaff and Tabea Zimmermann as part of the Chamber Music Connects the World programme at the Kronberg Academy.
