PIANO 2016 : Laureate
After training in his homeland at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Atsushi Imada is currently studying at the Royal College of Music (London) under Dmitri Alexeev and Roustem Saitkoulov. Second laureate of the 79th Music Competition of Japan and of the PTNA Piano Competition in 2010 ; and of the 9th Tokyo Music Competition in 2013, he has performed in Japan (Mareciale Hall, Bikan Hall, Kawai Omotesando Salon ‘Pause’) and in England (Pushkin House, St James’s Church Paddington). He has played with orchestras such as the São Paulo Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo University of Arts Orchestra, the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ribeirao Preto Symphony Orchestra, and the Kakegawa City Orchestra. Atsushi Imada made his debut at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan this year.
