Having studied at the Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie (IMEP) in Namur with Benoît Giaux and Élise Gäbele, Jodie Devos obtained a Masters of Art at the Royal Academy of Music in London under the tutelage of Lillian Watson. She has also worked, during master classes, with H. Deutsch, J. Streets and M. Minkowski. A laureate at several national competitions, such as the Concours Bell’Arte, le Fonds Thirionnet, Les Nouveaux Talents de l’Art lyrique and the Prix Jacques Dôme, she is currently a member of the Académie de l’Opéra Comique in Paris. The roles she has sung include Serpina (La Serva padrona), Blondchen (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Miss Wordworth (Albert Herring) and she has performed in a recital or as a soloist in Belgium, Germany (Stuttgart), The Netherlands (Maastricht), England (Wigmore Hall), and France.
