Kevin Zhu is a graduate of The Juilliard School, where he studied under Itzhak Perlman and Li Lin. He has performed on the world’s greatest stages, from the Konzerthaus in Berlin to the Royal Festival Hall in London and the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing. He won the Paganini Competition in 2018 and the Yehudi Menuhin Competition in 2012. This season he made his debut at the Kennedy Center, returned to the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid and Victoria Hall in Singapore, and toured with cellist Jan Vogler and pianist Andrew Armstrong. A passionate chamber musician, Kevin Zhu regularly collaborates with artists such as Louis Lortie, Lawrence Power and Boris Giltburg. He is also Culture Ambassador of the Lin Yao Ji Music Foundation of China. He has received an Avery Fisher Career Grant and a scholarship from the Salon de Virtuosi.
