Seung Jick Kim did his training at the National University of Seoul under the tutelage of Park Hyun Jae. He won several competitions in his native country, such as the Dong-A Music Competition, the Gloria Opera Competition, the CBS Music Competition and the Su-Ri Music Competition. He is also a laureate of the National Opera Competition of Korea as well as the Dae-Gu Voice Competition. On stage, he has played the roles of Tamino (Die Zauberflöte by Mozart), Rodolfo (La Bohème by Puccini) and Giuseppe (La Traviata by Verdi). Kim Seung Jick has mainly performed in Korea, at the Centre of Arts of Seoul, with ensembles such as the KBS Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Incheon.
