Taehan Kim currently studies at the College of Music of Seoul National University, where he is taught by Gunyoung Na. He has won several awards at international singing competitions, including the Brian Dickie Young Talent Award at the Neue Stimmen international singing competition in 2022, Second Prize at the Gwangju competition in 2022, the Scholarship Prize at the Concorso Internazionale Riccardo Zandonai 2022, and an Extraordinary Prize at the Concurso Tenor Viñas the same year. He also won Second Prize at the Joongang competition and is a laureate of the Shinhan Music Awards 2018. Taehan Kim has performed in productions including Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffmann with the SNU Symphony Orchestra at the SNU Cultural Center Grand Theater and in recital with Jihyun Joy Kang at the Kumho Art Hall Yonsei for the Kumho Asiana Cultural Foundation.
