Programme of the finalists
At each final evening the audience will hear two finalists, accompanied by he National Orchestra of Belgium, conducted by Marin Alsop.
Each finalist will perform a concerto of his or her choice, as well as the unpublished work written specially for this year’s competition by Claude Ledoux, A Butterfly's Dream. This compulsory work is no longer selected on the basis of the Composition Competition, but has been commissioned by the Executive Committee of the Queen Elisabeth Competition.
