Alexander Beyer

Currently studying at the New England Conservatory under W.K. Byun and R. Sherman, Alexander Beyer won the NEC Piano Honors Competition in 2014, which led to his debut at Jordan Hall in Boston. The following year, he won the Harvard Concerto Competition ; he is also a laureate of the US National Chopin Competition and of the Dublin International Piano Competition. He has performed in the United States (Sanders Theater in Cambridge, Paul Hall in New York, New World Center in Miami), Ireland (Royal Dublin Society, National Concert Hall), Luxembourg, Germany, and the Netherlands and has played under conductors such as G. Meier, A. Buribayev, and G. Nowak. Alexander Beyer is involved in a number of charitable projects (including Pequot Library and Music for Youth) and, in parallel with his music course, he is studying mathematics at Harvard.
