Chiara Skerath trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique (CNSM) in Paris and at the University for Performing Art in Vienna before perfecting her art with Glenn Chambers, Helena Lazarska and Ruben Lifschitz. In 2012, she was a laureate of the Emmerich Smola Förderpreis competition and, the following year, of the Singing-Piano Duo Grand Prix at the Lili and Nadia Boulanger international competition. This year, she has played Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus) at the Opéra Comique in Paris and Eurydice (Orphée et Eurydice) at the Bremen music festival. The two productions are directed by Marc Minkowski. She has also performed in recitals in France, Germany, Finland, Switzerland and Belgium. Next year, she will be seen playing the parts of, for example, Servilia (La Clemenza di Tito) at the National Opera of the Rhine and Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) at the Opera in Saint-Étienne.
