Eva Zaïcik

Winner of the ‘Révélation lyrique’ award at the Victoires de la Musique Classique 2018 and of third prize in the prestigious Voix Nouvelles 2018 competition, the mezzo-soprano Eva Zaïcik received a Master’s in singing in 2016 from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where she was taught by Elène Golgevit. That same year, she won the Adami’s ‘Révélation lyrique’ award. In 2016-2017, she appeared at the Rouen, Versailles, and Dijon opera houses and also made her debut at the Royal Albert Hall in London in the BBC Proms with the Ensemble Pygmalion. Highlights this year include singing with Christophe Rousset’s Les Talens Lyriques and Vincent Dumestre and recording with Justin Taylor and the Taylor Consort for the Alpha label. Eva Zaïcik took part in the 8th edition of William Christie’s Arts Florissants’ ‘Jardin des Voix’ and the subsequent world tour.
