PIANO 2010 : Laureate
At the age of eleven, Park Jong-Hai entered the Yewon Music School, and later on the Seoul Arts High School, and the preparatory section of the Korea National University of Arts, where he studied with Kang Choong-Mo, starting in 2004. A laureate of numerous Korean competitions, in 2008 he won Second Prize in the Hong Kong International Piano Competition and the Nagoya International Music Competition (Japan), as well as a prize from the Japan Academy of Chamber Music. Last year he won Second Prize in the Dublin International Piano Competition. He has given a series of recitals in Korea (Young Artist Concert Series) and Japan and has also performed with the Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra.
