VOICE 2023 : Third Prize
Having completed her studies at the St Petersburg Conservatory and then at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin under Tamara Novichenko and Anna Samouil, Julia Muzychenko-Greenhalgh
won Second Prize at the Montserrat Caballé International Singing Competition in Barcelona. In 2015, she performed at the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg in Tarnopolsky’s
Cinderella. In recent years, she has played the parts of Norina (
Don Pasquale), Nanetta (
Falstaff), and Gilda (
Rigoletto) at the Opéra de Montpellier, and Violetta (
La Traviata) at the Festival Verdi in Busseto, at the Teatro Regio di Parma, and at the Ópera de Tenerife, Musetta (
La Bohème) and Papagena (
The Magic Flute) at the Semperoper in Dresden, Oksana (Rimsky-Korsakov’s
Christmas Eve) at the Oper Frankfurt, and Amina (
La Sonnambula) in Clermont-Ferrand, Metz, and Reims.
