Marianne Croux

After first studying the violin and piano, Marianne Croux was admitted to the Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie (IMEP) in Namur in 2009 and went on to further studies in singing at the Conservatoire de Paris (CNSM) in 2012 under Chantal Mathias. In 2015, an exchange with the Manhattan School of Music gave her the opportunity to work with Mignon Dunn. She has also undertaken further studies under Anne Le Bozec, Margreet Honig, Regina Werner, Janina Baechle, Kenneth Weiss, Jeff Cohen, and Olivier Reboul. In 2009, she won first prize in the Dexia Classics competition and sang with the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie at La Monnaie in Brussels. In parallel with her appearances in operatic roles, she has performed in sacred music under conductors such as David Reiland, Raphaël Pichon, and Emmanuelle Haïm. In September 2017, she joined the Académie de l’Opéra National de Paris.
