Since her first recital in 1975, Rita Kinka has played regularly in all the Yugoslav music centers and also in the USA, Australia, Russia, Germany, Israel, Taiwan, Belgium, Croatia, Slowenia, Spain, Canada, Holland, France, Hungary, Bulgaria, Italy, England and Czechoslovakia. Besides being awinner of several Yugoslav awards and prizes, she is a laureate of the international piano competitions of Senigallia (1979), Vercelli (Viotti, 1981), Belgrade (Jeunesses Musicales, 1983), Zwickau (Schumann, 1985), Sydney (1985), Munich (ARD, 1987), Washington (1990) and Orleans (XX century piano competition, Samson Francoise award, 1996).
