Ruslan Talas

A graduate of the Moscow Conservatory in the classes of Irina Bochkova and Graf Mourja, Ruslan Talas also trained under Vladimir Reider in Israel and is now studying at the Haute École de Musique à Sion (Switzerland) under Janine Jansen. The winner of the Worldvision Music Contest, the Lipizer Competition and the Tchaikovsky Youth Competition, he was a finalist in the Montréal Competition. As a soloist, he has performed with the Russian National Orchestra, the Hanoi Symphony Orchestra, the New Russia State Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow Virtuosi and the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal. Ruslan Talas has also taken part in masterclasses with musicians such as Ivry Gitlis, Shmuel Ashkenasi, Viktor Tretyakov, Viktor Danchenko, Pavel Vernikov, Boris Kushnir, Chaim Taub and Régis Pasquier as well as with the Borodin Quartet and the Quartetto di Cremona.
