Sean Kennard

Sean Kennard began his studies at the Curtis Institute and continued them at the College of Charleston, under Enrique Graf, before going on to advanced studies at the Juilliard School under Jerome Lowenthal and Robert McDonald. He is currently working with Richard Goode. He has won many prizes at international competitions such as the Vendome, Sendai, and Hilton Head, including the 1st Prize at the Luis Sigall International Competition in Viña del Mar (Chile, 2007). He has performed as a soloist with the Deutsches Kammerorchester, the NHK Chamber Orchestra, the Sendai Philharmonic, the Morocco Philharmonic, the Montevideo Philharmonic, the Yamagata Symphony, the Kyushu Symphony, Sinfonia Perugina, and the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra.
