22 semi-finalists
Due to medical reasons, two pianists, Jacopo Giovannini and Miguel Iglesias Lista, had to withdraw from the semi-final. The semi-finalists who were scheduled to appear after these candidates will now perform earlier in the afternoon or evening: semi-final schedule - update 12 May.

Find out more about the semi-finalists on their personal pages.

Programme
At each session, which consists of two parts, four different semi-finalists are scheduled. The first two play a Mozart concerto with the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie conducted by Vahan Mardirossian.
After the break, the other two perform their recital. The jury will choose one of two recital programmes proposed by the candidate, each including works of the candidate’s choice and the compulsory unpublished work written especially for this year’s edition. The jury's choice is communicated to the candidates the day before their recital and will then be indicated in the calendar on our website.

You can find their programmes on their personal pages on this website and in the semi-final calendar.

Jury
The performances of the candidates will be judged by an eminent jury panel of teachers, soloists and music professionals, presided by Gilles Ledure. Find out more about them on the jury members page.

Proclamation of the finalists
