27/10/2021 In keeping with tradition, Bozar plays host to the winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition for a piano recital in the very place where he claimed the coveted prize: the Henry Le Bœuf Hall, this year on Saturday the 4th of December at 8pm.
This year's recital promises to be special, as Jonathan Fournel achieved his victory without an audience in the concert hall. A great opportunity for loyal fans of the Queen Elisabeth Competition to hear this excellent young pianist perform live at last !
From his first recording, freshly released on the Alpha label, he will play Brahms' 3rd Piano Sonata.

«A natural, musical and poetic playing in Mozart’s 18th concerto performed with majestic purity and lyricism as well as Brahms’ Variations and Fugue on a theme by Haendel led with intensity and an unquestionable sense of story-telling. » Marie-Aude Roux writes in Le Monde.
