The Queen Elisabeth Competition is placed under the High Patronage of Her Majesty Queen Mathilde. As part of this role, Her Majesty the Queen has been regularly present as from the first round of the 2021 Piano Competition, in order to encourage and support the candidates. Her Majesty the Queen also watched a number of performances via live streaming on our website and has had a digital meeting with the finalists in the Music Chapel. To express our gratitude to Her Majesty the Queen, we collected some beautiful images that testify to Her continued support for the young musicians.
