CELLO 2026 : Laureate
Dilshod Narzillaev is currently artist-in-residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel under Gary Hoffman. He earned a bachelor’s degree at the International Centre for Music at Park University with Daniel Veis and a master’s degree at the New England Conservatory under Laurence Lesser. Fourth Prize at the Antonio Janigro Competition in 2020, he won First Prize at the Tufts/NEC Competition in 2022. Recent solo performances include the Boston Pops Orchestra at Symphony Hall and the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra. As a chamber musician, he has performed at such festivals as Prussia Cove, Fontainebleau and the Perlman Music Program. He has also appeared alongside Itzhak Perlman, Gil Kalish, Kim Kashkashian and members of the Borromeo String Quartet. A keen teacher, he has given masterclasses in Uzbekistan.
