2023 Voice Competition

In 2023, the Competition will be dedicated to the voice. Because the singers perform a shorter program than the instrumentalists, three final evenings are organised instead of six.

The final will be organised from Thursday 1 to Saturday 3 June. Each night, four finalists will take the stage at 8pm. They will each sing three to six pieces of their own choice, including at least one opera aria, accompanied by the La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Alain Altinoglu. The ranking of the laureates will be announced after the performance of the last finalist, on Saturday 3 June around midnight.

On Tuesday 13 June at 8 pm, the six ranked laureates will close this edition with a joint performance on the stage of the Henry Le Bœuf Hall with the Symphony Orchestra of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, conducted by Alejo Pérez.

Experience these four musical evenings in the company of outstanding young vocalists in the magnificent setting of the Henry Le Boeuf Hall of the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts !
