Semi-final piano 2021
Monday 10 May 2021 - Saturday 15 May 2021 (16:00 & 20:00) Flagey, Brussels
At each session one semi-finalist will perform a Mozart concerto, accompanied by the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, under the baton of Frank Braley, and also a recital.
The semi-finalists have chosen the Mozart concerto from concertos KV450 (No. 15 in B flat major), KV453 (No. 17 in G major), KV456 (No. 18 in B flat major), KV488 (No. 23 in A major) and KV595 (No.27 in B flat major).
For the recital they have prepared the unpublished compulsory work Nocturne, written by Pierre Jodlowski, and two entirely different programmes of their own choice. The choice of recital made by the jury is communicated to the candidates the day before their performance. Afterwards, we publish the recital programme in the calendar below.
