CELLO 2026 : Laureate
Born into a family of musicians, Clara Dietlin quickly developed a particular interest in the cello. After graduating from the Boulogne-Billancourt Conservatoire, she studied at the Paris Conservatoire before becoming artist-in-residence in 2024 at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel under Gary Hoffman and Jeroen Reuling. In 2023 she was appointed second soloist of the Orchestre de l’Opéra de Paris, which led her to work with such conductors as Gustavo Dudamel, Daniele Gatti and Simone Young. Passionate about chamber music, she has performed at various festivals across France, including La Vague Classique, Les Heures Musicales de Normandie and La Folle Journée de Nantes, as well as in Switzerland and Belgium. She has shared the stage with artists such as Augustin Dumay, Denis Kozhukhin, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden and Renaud Capuçon.
