PIANO 2016 : Laureate
Dmitry Shishkin gave his first concert at the age of three and performed with an orchestra three years later. He is currently studying at the Moscow Conservatory under Elisso Virsaladze. A laureate of many competitions in his homeland, in recent years he has impressed at international competitions such as the Ferruccio Busoni International Competition in Bolzano in 2013, the International Competition of Rio de Janeiro in 2014, and the F. Chopin International Competition in Warsaw in 2015. Dmitry Shishkin has performed in Bulgaria, Germany, Croatia, Italy, France, Spain, England, Japan, Austria, China, and Poland and has played with orchestras such as the Virtuosos of Gnesiny Chamber Orchestra, the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, and the Musica Viva Academic Orchestra. He made his debut at Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre in 2016.
