VIOLIN 2019 : Laureate
Eva Rabchevska began her musical studies under Maria Futorska in Lviv, her home town. She went on to train at the Special Music School in Kiev under Yaroslava Rivnyak and later at the Bratislava Conservatory under Jozef Kopelman. She is currently engaged in further studies at the Reina Sofía College of Music under Zakhar Bron. She has won prizes at a number of competitions : the David Oistrakh in Moscow in 2010, the Carl Flesch in Hungary, the Lipinski-Wieniawski in Lublin (Poland), and the Young Virtuosos in Sofia. Eva Rabchevska is a member of the BP Mendelssohn Quartet. She has performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras, including the Bratislava Chamber Orchestra, the Gyor Philharmonic Orchestra, the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Olomouc Symphony Orchestra, and the St Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
