PIANO 2025 : Laureate
Mirabelle Kajenjeri studied the piano in Vienna, Hanover and Brussels. In 2024 she was a laureate of the Fondation Gautier Capuçon and became an Artist in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel. Passionate also about the violin, she has been studying both instruments since childhood, obtaining her bachelor’s degree in 2018 at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, simultaneously with her bachelor’s in piano. Her talent has been rewarded in many competitions, including First Prize at the Santa Cecilia Competition (2021), Second Prize at the Kissinger KlavierOlymp (2023), and semi-finalist at the Arthur Rubinstein Competition (2023) and Cleveland Competition (2024). She is the recipient of scholarships from the Safran Foundation and Wilhelm Kempff Foundation, among others. She has collaborated with various orchestras, including the Orchestre de Picardie, Orchestra Filarmonica Pugliese, Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester Frankfurt and Orquestra Filarmónica Portuguesa. In 2022 her first album appeared on the KNS Classical label.
