VIOLIN 2024 : Laureate
A graduate of the Yehudi Menuhin School, SongHa Choi is currently studying under Kolja Blacher at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin. She won the Second Prize and Audience Prize at the Concours musical international de Montréal in 2023. She has performed as a soloist with such orchestras as the Lithuanian National Symphony, the Westminster Philharmonic, the Barnet Symphony, the Yongin Philharmonic and the Sinfonia of Cambridge. SongHa Choi has given recitals in such prestigious venues as the Berlin Philharmonie Kammermusiksaal, the Wigmore Hall, the Royal Festival Hall in London, the Gstaad Chapel and the National Philharmonic Hall in Vilnius. Her chamber music performances have also taken her to the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Elbphilharmonie, the Église de Verbier-Station and the Alte Oper in Frankfurt.
