28/02/2025 The laureates of the Piano Competition are not only rewarded with a money prize, but they will also receive numerous concert opportunities, in Belgian and foreign concert halls.
Laureates' recitals at Flagey
The six unranked laureates of the 2025 Piano Competition will return one last time to Studio 4 in Flagey to give a joint recital on
Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 June at 8.15pm.

On
Monday 9 June at 8.15 pm at the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts, the 4th, 5th and 6th laureates will wave goodbye to the Belgian public in the company of the
Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, under the baton of
Martijn Dendievel.
Tickets are available at Bozar.This concert is also scheduled at the Salle Philharmonique in Liège, on 11 June, and at the Concertgebouw in Bruges, on 14 June.
Closing concert
The concert with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd laureates and the
Antwerp Symphony Orchestra conducted by
Christoph Altstaedt is scheduled on
Wednesday 11 June at 8.15 pm at the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts.
Tickets are available at Bozar.The first three laureates will also perform at the Concertgebouw in Bruges on 7 June, in De Bijloke in Ghent on 8 June, in the Cultural Centre of Hasselt on 9 June and in the Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp on 10 June.
Other concerts
The First and Second Laureates will perform with the
Belgian National Orchestra, conducted by
Jesko Sirvend, in Leuven (Wednesday 25 June, Stadsschouwburg) and Charleroi (Thursday 26 June, Palais des Beaux-Arts). Other concerts will be added regularly to the
concert calendar of the 2025 Piano Competition.
Steinway Prizewinner Concert Network
Steinway is bringing together piano competitions, concert organisers, festivals and radio stations at an international level in the
Steinway Prizewinner Concert Network. These concerts introduce audiences to young musicians who have been specially selected and highly recommended by Steinway at an early stage in their careers.
The First Laureate of the 2025 Piano Competition will be invited for the Steinway Prizewinner Concerts Tour in 2026-27, with solo recital performances scheduled at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, at the NDR Sendesaal in Hanover and at the Robert-Schumann-Saal in Düsseldorf. The winner will also receive Steinway Prizewinner Concerts at the Festival „Great Pianists of the 21st Century“ in Nicosia (Cyprus) on 8 October 2025, in Münich on 12 October 2025 at Bergson Kunstkraftwerk and at the Piano Days in St. Moritz on 21 December 2025. Additional concerts will be added.
Tour in Asia
The first two laureates will perform in Asia in September 2025. Organised in collaboration with
SBU & Partners, this series of concerts and recitals takes them to stages in Korea, Japan and China.
Tour in Brazil
The First Laureate will be invited to Brazil in the fall of 2026. The tour will start with a recital in Florianopolis on 12 October, followed by two concerts in Belo Horizonte with the Orquestra Filarmônica de Minas Gerais on 15 and 16 October. On 18 and 19 October the winner will perform in recital in São Paulo and on 22 October in Manaus with the Orquestra Amazonas Filarmônica. The tour finishes with two recitals, on 24 October in Rio de Janeiro (Sala Cecilia Meirelles) and on 25 October in Curitiba (auditório Regina Casillo).
