Want to hear more from your favourite cellists of this third cello session? The laureates have again been offered numerous concerts, in Belgium and abroad.
Laureates recitals at Flagey
We kick off with the recitals by the unranked laureates on Wednesday 3 June and Thursday 4 June at 8.15pm at Flagey. The programme of both days will be available as from Monday afternoon.
Laureates' concert
The laureates’ concert, with Álvaro Lozano Cames, Yo Kitamura and Maria Zaitseva and the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Shiyeon Sung, will take place on Monday 8 June at 8.15 pm in the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts. The concert will be broadcast live on RTBF Musiq3 and on 10 June in the afternoon on Klara. The same concert also takes place at the Concertgebouw in Bruges, on Saturday 6 June, and at the Koningin Elisabethzaal in Antwerp, on Sunday 7 June.
Closing concert
The concert with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd laureates and the Brussels Philharmonic conducted by Samy Rachid, is scheduled on Wednesday 10 June at 8.15 pm in the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts. The concert will be broadcast live on RTBF Musiq3 and Klara, VRT MAX and Ketnet, and will later also be shown on RTBF Auvio, RTBF La Trois and VRT 1.
Ettore Pagano, Tae-Yeon Kim and Leland Ko will also perform in Leuven (Thursday 11 June, 30CC), Hasselt (Friday 12 June, Cultuurcentrum), and Bruges (Saturday 13 June, Concertgebouw). On Sunday 28 June, the RTBF Musiq3 audience favourite, Álvaro Lozano Cames, gets to perform at the Festival Musiq3 in Flagey.
Tour in Korea
The first two laureates will perform in Korea in September, organised in collaboration with SBU & Partners.
