PIANO 1995 : Laureate
Japanese concertpianist and pedagogue Seiko Tsukamoto has studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris with Jacques Rouvier and at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover with Arie Vardi.
In 1996 she won the Hamamatsu Competition, in 1999 she obtained 2nd prize at the International Vladimir Horowitz Competition in Kiev and in 2001 3rd prize at the International piano competition of Genève. She is also a laureate of the Dublin piano competition.
Seiko Tsukamoto performs in Japan, China, Europe, Israël and the USA. A regular guest at festivals, she has performed, among others, with the Menuhin Festival Orchestra directed by Yehudi Menuhin.
